Bunch of interesting stories below… But first!
🎵 I’m going back to Cali… Cali… Ca– Oh. Wait. I’ve never been to Cali.
Well, that’s changing. By the time you get this, I’ll be zipping along above the clouds on my way to L.A., L.A., big city of dreams. This weekend I’m attending, and presenting, at the Show & Prove Hip-Hop Studies Conference. Shouts to UC Riverside. I’ll be talking about hip-hop’s continuing (and vital) role in the fight for social justice. (It still exists, but not necessarily how people think.)
Soon as I come back to home base in Newark, NJ, on Dec. 13 I’m holding another workshop - ’How Hip-Hop Can Save Your Business!’ - Doesn’t matter WHAT business, there are lessons to be gleaned from the brilliance of one of the world’s most innovative artistic and cultural movements.
Then, on Xmas Eve December 24, I’ll be spinning good music at Silent Knight’s Silent Night Christmas Spectacular in New Brunswick, NJ.
OK, enough me. More everyone else! Here are the recent stories I’ve collected for you…
