Peace and love, my friends. Couple of quickies, then off to the stories!
NYC: We’re proud to announce the first in a series of events we call the Hip-Hop Community Solution Ciphers! We believe that the power of hip-hop and hip-hop-minded folks is near limitless, and that much of that power can be used to improve lives and communities, so we’re getting together to talk about what that movement needs to look like. We’re teaming up with an amazing organization called #HipHopHacks and the good folks at the Media Arts department at LIU - Brooklyn. Information below, this event is open to the public and free with RSVP
This week, I’ll be at Bucknell University to moderate a discussion about the future of hip-hop, and deliver a talk to students about hip-hop’s ability to improve areas outside of mere entertainment. Special thanks to them!
OK. Enough about me. RSVP for our event, and then check out this week’s batch of stories of hip-hop innovation, inspiration and insight.
