Peace and love to friends, neighbors, supporters and haters!
BIG list of stories today. But first – WE HAVE A NEW THING!!
#HipHopInnovates with Manny Faces is a new video series that delivers hip-hop news and views – beyond just the music on the radio. It’s sorta like the live version of this newsletter. They drop (almost) every weekday, and are short and sweet and filled with hip-hop goodness. We’ve dropped a few episodes already so check what we’re working with on YouTube and Facebook, IGTV, or on our site. COMMENTS ARE APPRECIATED!
Quick plug: I’ll be speaking at a few places this spring, stay tuned for details. In the meantime, if you or your org is interested in booking a speaker to talk about:
- hip-hop’s continuing role in the fight for social justice
- why (and how) we must preserve and protect hip-hop culture
- how a hip-hop mentality can help EVERY business
- hip-hop’s vital role in technology/hacking/STEM/science
- how hip-hop can help save America!
(I also conduct podcast workshops/training and am available for freelance podcast editing work…) Ok, now on to the stories!
