The Hip-Hop Advocate Newsletter
Hello my friend,
When you received the last edition of this newsletter, I was in the hospital, after donating a kidney to my oldest daughter.
This edition, we’re both home, recovering nicely. 💚
Last edition, I announced the launch of a fundraiser for our nonprofit organization, to allow us to level up our work celebrating and championing the life-changing and life-saving innovation and inspiration that lives in hip-hop music and culture, yet is all-too-often overlooked.
This edition, thanks to amazing supporters who believe in our mission, our fundraiser is nearly 20% funded, raising more than $1,200 so far.
We have 28 more days to go, and we need your help.
As always, I thank you for allowing me into your e-world, and for your love, respect, donations, and well-wishes.
None of that is taken lightly.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the cause. In the meantime, here is the latest batch of hand-picked stories of hip-hop innovation, inspiration, and insight.
